Android 2.3 Gingerbread is coming to Nexus One.

Nexus One owner rejoice, Android 2.3 Gingerbread is coming soon according to a tweet by @googlenexus on Monday December 20th, 2010.

The Gingerbread OTA for Nexus One will happen in the coming weeks. Just hang tight!

What does “in the coming weeks” mean? It could be 2 weeks or 6 weeks. Who knows.
