iPhone OS 4.0 beta 2: Emoji is back!

According to our source, Emoji is available again in iPhone OS 4.0 beta 2. In beta 1, for some reasons Emoji option could not be enabled, unless the OS was upgraded from iPhone OS 3.x. It is now categorized simply as “Emoji” inthe International Keyboard selections. Previously it was part of Japanese Keyboards.

Another note from our imaginary source that iPhone OS 4.0 beta 2 is a lot more stable than beta 1 as expected.

  1. Hmm.. Not for me. I’m on the 4.0beta2 and don’t see Emoji in the Intl keyboards (nor under Japanese) .

I confirm that it’s much much more stable than b1 (I would have called that one an alpha1.. almost unusable for me). And I confirm that the camera takes pictures (slow!) but doesn’t store in the album .

It’s a JOY to finally have app folders.
And it’s wonderful to finally see subfolder management in the iPod app.

  2. who doesn’t like these stuffs. i’ve always dreamt about having these stuff for myself.
