“RENO 911! is Canceled.

It’s official! Comedy Central cancels RENO 911! today as revealed by show creator Thomas Lennon through Twitter.

“Reno 911! was cancelled at 1:30 pm today. Won’t be wearing the shorts again.”

Fans blame show creators for killing off the Deputies.

More on this.

I talked to Carlos Alazraqui who played Deputy James Oswaldo Garcia at The Hollywood Improv on Thursday night. Alazraqui says that he never left but only one season ahead of the show itself. He also says that fans can always watch the show on re-run and DVD. In addition to that Alazraqui will be hitting the road with Cedric Yarbrough (Deputy S. Jones) for the coming months.

p.s. Trying to get Cedric Yarbrough to say a few words about RENO 911! and his current projects. Stay tuned!

  1. I truly sucks that the creators drove the excellent comedy into the toilet. They seriously had to work at screwing this one up, but they succeeded.

    1. I feel the same way about the show. The decision to replace the cast members was a bad move. I did not watch season 6 that much. I didn’t find it as entertaining as the previous seasons.

  2. Sorry to see it go and real sorry we lost Clemmie, Garcia and Kimball in the last season. The show had a good run I guess. Wish there was another movie from it all. And we do have the re-runs and DVDs (we only purchased seasons 1-5). Bye Bye Reno 911, thanks for all the laughs.
