Metallica: “Death Magnetic” Reigns Over The iTunes Store

Metallica “Death Magnetic” was released on September 12th, 2008 worldwide and it surely reigns over the sales chart. According to Hits Daily Double as reported by BLABBERMOUTH.NET, Metallica is on track selling 500,000 copies in the U.S. alone for its first four days of release. It is an impressive numbers considering that “Death Magnetic” is released on Friday, since traditionally records are released on Tuesday.

On the Digital Download front, “Death Magnetic” reigns over the iTunes Store. Out of 22 iTunes Stores, “Death Magnetic” captures the number 1 spot in 21 countries. Only in Japan iTunes Store “Death Magnetic lands on the number 2 spot.
