  • Media Uploader fixes
  • An upgrade to TinyMCE 3.0.7
  • Widget Administration fixes
  • Various usability improvements

I am upgrading my blog to WordPress 2.5.1 as I am writing this post. The first thing I did was backing up the WordPress database before attempting the upgrade.

  1. Did you suceed in your upgrade?

I tried to upgrade my subdomain, and not the whole blog dallasdailyphoto.unsealmylips.com is not working. Can you help? or point me to the right direction?

As a matter of fact I have upgraded two blogs to WordPress 2.5.1 so far. But they are not without glitches. I believe it has something to do with the MySQL provided by Yahoo!.

First and foremost, you should have backed up your previous WP blog. So that when it failed upgrading you could at least fall back to the working one. Providing that the MySQL database was not drastically altered.

I don’t know if I could give you better answer than the people @ WordPress.org discussion board.

If you have any details you can share, that might help.
