Hi,
as an owner of the same camcorder (but using Windows) environment, I’m checking your work. Unfortunately, I can’t play your videos (at least the short one with the guitar) as it’s encoded with something called ‘Apple ProRes 422’ and QT 7.4.5 doesn’t want to play it. I gues if it would be encoded in H.264 as many on the Apple site http://www.apple.com/quicktime/guide/hd/ are, there should be no problem.
So, is there any special reason to encode for Apple ProRes? If not, can you encode in (igues) more generally acceptabe H.264?
Thanks,
Gee
Awesome! The clip plays on Windows just fine with WinDVD9. Is enabling pull down removal for SD9 .MTS files on FCP as simple as activating Perian 1.1? Thanks!
