iPhone 4S: The missing “Enable 3G” switch.

The “Enable 3G” switch is no longer present in iPhone 4S.  The purpose of disabling the 3G radio is to conserve battery life or forcing the iPhone to connect to EDGE network where 3G signals are weak.

The “Enable 3G” switch still present in iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.

    1. There’s no need to do anything to your iPhone 4S to bring the switch back. It will be included in iOS 5.1 which would be released soon.

In addition to that, who’s “Jeff”?
Did you just copy and paste the comment from somewhere else?

  3. Jailbreak your iphone and install from Cydia – Sbsettings. this app has the 3g switch integrated. at least it will help you have good signal, but the battery will not be improved
