Xmarks is shutting down services January 10, 2011.

Sad news everyone. Xmarks sync services will shut down on January 10, 2011.

For those who enjoy the Xmarks service should read the blog post and do something about it. It is really tough to provide services for free. It is good for the users in the beginning, but in the long run there’s still no lights visible at the far end of the tunnel.

Hey Apple or Google, one of you should acquire Xmarks pronto!

It’s sad but chrome and FireFox 4 have this…so its a gonner.
