It had been raining hard for the past few days and I found some water damage in a house I visited earlier today.
At this time there is no rain in the forecast.

I’ve just received Victorinox Hunstman Year of the Horse today. Yes, I paid for it because I’m just a fan of finely crafted tools. I have collected numbers of “Swiss Army Knives” over the years. When I saw this on Victorinox site, I ordered it immediately. Soon after I completed my order, I noticed that the item was sold out.

I love the design and craftsmanship of the packaging itself. It is a collector’s delight.

Note: As I mentioned above, I paid for this product.
Day three of 2026, Mayor McCheese has been captured…
Oh wait, what?

Anyway, it’s been raining quite a bit where I’m at. Now I’m enjoying the warmth of the fireplace.
We had quite nice lunch during the rain at a local eatery. One more day before we officially going back to work. Well, I had been spending time at the office for the first two days of the year, but the office was officially closed.
Sunday, is just a few hours away.
I’m seeing more and more Slop on Amazon.com. This particular one product has three reviews and two of them are definitely astroturfed or posted by bots.

This is the not so normal norm now.
P.S. Spot the Polydactyl.
It is 2026 already?
37prime went online sometimes in 2006. This means we are entering 20th anniversary of random thought droppings.
This site was originally a publicly-accessible personal bookmark. It still is. The main difference is that those who contributed to this site have either moved on or perfecting the art of procrastination. Maybe one day this year they would be able to overcome the urge to slack and write more for this site. One can only dream.
Here’s to the next 365 days, including today, may 2026 be better than its predecessor.

Three pairs of Atoms Water-Repellent Model 000 shoes arrived before Christmas, and I finally got the chance to open the packages.
The Clove Green pair look just like that Model 001, except better. I like Model 000 better than its successor.
It had been raining around Christmas Day, but I haven’t had a chance to wear any of these Water-Repellent shoes. The “good news” is that it would be raining again around New Year’s Day. At least that’s what the weather forecast said. I’ll be wearing one of these pairs then and see how “Water-Repellent” these shoes are.
In no way this post is sponsored by Atoms. I paid for all these three pairs of shoes in full price.
Why?
That’s because I love these shoes, and Atoms has been my primary brand of shoes since 2019.
I have purchased a few pairs of Model 001 and worn them extensively; in the end I prefer Model 000 better.
Model 000 has the simplicity of design language that I love. Model 001 deviates a bit from this design. Then there’s the other model that totally doesn’t speak the same design language, and should have not been called as Atoms shoes.
This site, 37Prime was started back in 2006 as a personal bookmark and a quasi-journal. 19 years have passed and so many things changed.
In 2007, something really exciting in the Tech world happened; the iPhone. Love it or hate it, the iPhone changed mobile phone industry. There were some posts on 37Prime were made on the iPhone that year.
Now there are plethora of mobile phones available on the market, one is more favored than the other by each individuals. “Whichever you fancy.”
We have travelled far in the last 19 years. For better and worse, here we are.
On a personal note, my fascination with the number 37 started a long time ago, when I noticed peculiar patterns. One of them:
3 x 7 x 37 = 777
Remember that: 3 x 37 = 111
There are a lot more interesting properties and patterns surrounding the number 37. You can read it at many Mathematical articles about this number.
Anyway, I think I babbled enough about the number 37.
I wish I could have more time to post a lot more here like we used to years ago. We just don’t have the time anymore. We are sure as the wind of change comes, we would be able to post more frequently.
We have travelled 19 years away from when this site was started. Life brought so many changes where our priorities shift. We love what we do and this site is a small extension of ourselves. Hopefully we would be able to express more in the near future. After all, there is something really precious about the ability to express ourselves.
We all are going through changes, hopefully for the better.
