Within its first hour of online sales, iPad 2 ship time increases to 2-3 weeks.

One could assume that Apple is alreday selling iPad 2 in a very high number, outstripping the available supplies for online sales.

iPad 2 will go on sale at 5:00 PM local time at Apple Store and select retailers such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.
