MEGADEATH fucking rules
Man talk about the tour of the year. Having those 3 bands together is killer. DOWN is an awesome band and Phil Anselmo is a vocal GOD. I can’t wait to see them on the 11th of March.
Phil a vocal god ??? what are you insane. yeah he was great with pantera, was a major person at fault for the pantera clan falling apart, Dio and Halford are the legendary kings of vocal metal.
i like the guy no doubt. during megadeth and sabbath’s performance me, my brother-in-laws and some friends watched the rest of the show with phil and big val all within a foot from each other, phil and big val were diggin the show with ordinary lads like us and that’s fuckin cool.
i have met ronnie and vinny, spoke with them at the back of hmv in toronto when they played at the govenor during the angry machines tour. ronnie is the fucking best down to earth celeb, no bullshit from him and vinny the same as well and man he is a big fucker, no wonder he pounds those skins to oblivion, i would not want to fuck with him. i have seen dio for the angry machines tour in toronto, then toured for the same album along with iron maiden touring for their virtual 11 tour with that mistake blaze bailey in montreal at jarry park, then saw dio in montreal with simon wright, jimmy bain and doug aldrich for killing the dragon tour—that was fucking awsome–doud is by far the next great guitarist dio has had if not ever had—simon he’s a good drummer but nothing like vinny who’ll make your speakers pop out, then saw dio again in montreal with craig goldie on guitar for the continuation of the killing the dragon tour co-headlining with iron maiden for their dance of death tour and man what a fucking show that was. dio has never lost his touch live wise. though i can say that the last dio studio album master of the moon was a little downer, holy diver, last in line, sacred heart, dream evil, locking up the wolves, strange highways and killing the dragon albums are just top notch. the shitiest and annoying guitar player he has ever had was tracy g who i got a chance to talk to in toronto and told him word on the street is people wish dio had someone else to do the job, he got pissed and i was happy. as for vinny this my second time seeing him during the montreal 2007 tour and man anyone who has not seen this tour yet you are going to shit in your pants when these guys hit the stage. ozzy was good for his era in black sabbath as a showman but for technicality, vocal range and as a lyricist ronnie dio blows the old monkey hoping lad away. tony iommi has never lost his touch in playing though this was the first time i saw him live, geezer still plays the same way but you will notice he does not move around as much on stage during this tour as he did during the dehumanizer tour which i can understand why, probably the body is slowing down.
I NEVER GOT TO SEE BLACK SABBATH’S HEAVEN AND HELL TOUR WHEN I WAS A KID BECAUSE I WAS AN INFANT BACK THEN, BUT AS SOON AS I HEARD ABOUT THIS TOUR, I BOUGHT MY TICKET FOR APRIL 24 AT HP PAVILLION. I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT. I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING RONNIE AND THE BAND PERFORM “CHILDREN OF THE SEA” AND “DIE YOUNG” MY TWO PERSONAL FAVORITES. F*CKK YES, THIS TOUR IS LONG OVERDUE. MY PREDICTION? DIO WILL BE SINGING FOR BLACK SABBATH AT THE OZZFESTS BEGINNING 2008. WATCH AND SEE.
SEE YA AT THE SHOW!! IT’S ALL ABOUT THE METAL!!!
Phil is a vocal God you ignorant ass. So are Dio and Halford, but there is no room to discredit Phil at all. Do you know anything about Pantera’s split?
