Showing No Mercy!

I preordered Slayer’s “Show No Mercy” 40th Anniversary Edition, Liquid “blood” filled vinyl directly from Metal Blade Records shop. It was priced at $199.99 + sales tax; and friend thought that I was crazy. I’m a huge fan of Slayer and it’s worth the price.

Shortly after the preorder was sold out, numerous posting on eBay priced this limited edition vinyl at $999.99 and supposedly sold out too. I do despise eBay scalpers. They shouldn’t be allowed to resell preorders.

Now that the actual product is delivered, the price has gone down to $800.00 and $699.00 on eBay.

Megadeth + Marty Friedman

The rumors have been confirmed, Marty Friedman will be performing with Megadeth for 3-song encore at Budokan an February 27, 2023. The show will be available for livestream, rebroadcast and on demand. Advance ticket costs $15 USD, and $17 USD for day of show ticket.

Marty Friedman was in talk with Megadeth camp for Rust in Peace reunion back in 2015. At that time, the late Nick Menza had signed up for the reunion, which later fell through.

In 2015, the source within Megadeth camp told us the background story for the attempted Rust in Peace reunion. The idea for the reunion started long before then drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick announced their departures from the band.

Anyway, we got our ticket already.

On another music news, Steel Panther released “Friends With Benefit”, the third song from their upcoming On The Prowl album.

On The Prowl is scheduled for release on February 24, 2023 as the band kick off their On The Prowl World Tour in Las Vegas, Nevada. We will be attending the show at Anaheim House of Blues on February 25, 2023.

Darth Vader Valentine Merchandise

One week into the year 2016, retailers such as Target already displayed “Valentine’s Day” merchandise. Valentine’s Day falls on February 14 every year.

We all should realize that Valentine’s Day is a real holiday and is not an attempt to get cash out of our pockets.
