Red D-tuna
I acquired a “used” EVH Wolfgang Special Stealth guitar in early April, 2016 and it came with D-tuna preinstalled. I noticed the D-tuna was rattling on the “drop” position. It turned out the D-tuna locking screw was too long. The second D-tuna locking screw provided with the guitar is identical in length with the one installed on the guitar.
I ended up buying a Red D-tuna kit to get the shorter locking screw.
After installing the shorter locking screw, the D-tuna no longer rattles on the “drop” position.
