Microsoft partners with Nokia on Mobile Phone.

Everyone saw it coming, Microsoft and Nokia are joining forces on mobile phones. After all, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has too much of Microsoft’s connection.

The proposed partnership includes:

  • Nokia adopts Windows Phone 7 as its primary platform/strategy.
  • Bing becomes the default search engine on Nokia phones.
  • Nokia maps will be integrated with Microsoft’s mapping service.

Does this mean Android is not an option for Nokia?
Would this happen if Stephen Elop or any ex-Microsoft Employees not the CEO of Nokia?

In a way Nokia is to Mobile Industry like Microsoft is to computer industry.

Vic Gundotra did know about this deal. Engadget has the details.

Kickstarter Project: The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn – Robotic Edition

Goal of the project:

Robots instead of N-bombs: Statistically, people prefer robots to the word “n-word.” The word “n-word” is ugly and pejorative. Robots are fun and cool…even when they’re trying to take over our world! So we’ve decided to take the word “n-word” out of Mark Twain’s classic and replace it with “robot.”

The video presentation is funny and well done. Reddit user aytch was so inspired and beat them to it, kinda.

Uninspiring Thursday: iPhone 4 on Verizon and more on Bing versus Google.

I feel so uninspired even though there’s a lot of news today.

iPhone 4 on Verizon are available in stores.
It’s February 10, 2011. The launch day for iPhone 4 for Verizon. It feels like last week news though, just like the iOS 4.2.6 for CDMA iPhone 4. The firmware was made available in late January 2011.

Bing beats Google, so someone says.
Some Analysis firm says that Bing is better than Google. Then Google’s Matt Cutts responds.

Till next time.
