Today marks the forty-fourth anniversary of the first Man on the Moon. Apollo 11 Mission landed on the Moon on July 20, 1969.

Office 2011 14.3.6 Update
Microsoft releases Office 2011 14.3.6 Update on Tuesday July 16, 2013.
This update provides the latest improvements in Office for Mac 2011. These include the following:
- Message sending in Microsoft Outlook for Mac
This update fixes an issue in which Outlook repeatedly tried to send messages that exceeded certain server-side size limits from the Outbox. Now, messages that exceed these size limits are put in the local Drafts folder after three unsuccessful attempts to send the messages.- Syncing a folder from which lots of messages were deleted in Outlook for Mac
This update fixes an issue in which syncing a folder from which many messages were deleted on another client frequently caused Microsoft Outlook for Mac to freeze.- Saving files to a Server Message Block (SMB) share in Microsoft Word for Mac
This update fixes an issue that causes Word to be unable to save files to an SMB share.
For some reasons I didn’t get the update until today.
VLC for iOS
VLC has made its way back to iOS. Availability on iTunes App Store has been spotty. I managed to download it.
VLC iOS is a port of the famous free media player to iDevices.
It can play all your movies and shows in most formats directly without conversion.VLC on iOS is completly free and open source.

It’s a computer running Windows 7 with tons of services failed to load. I suspected that there was something wrong with the file system. So I scheduled a Check Disk.
Apollo 11 Mission, 44 years ago.
Apollo 11 was launched on July 16, 1969 from Cape Kennedy with the goal of landing man on the Moon; a first in recorded history that we know of.
In about 100 and 2 hours after Neil Armstrong became the first man to step on the Moon.
Master of Puppets
I had an assignment earlier today involving Mac Pros. Considering that I’d be having some travelling and waiting, I decided to bring some music with me. At home I went through my collections and picked up one CD that I haven’t touched in a long time, physically. Yeah, thanks to the convenience of digital music, in the cloud. I loaded the CD in my computer and, well, you can guest the rest.
It’s Metallica’s 1986 seminal record Master of Puppets. I actually listened to the whole record from beginning to finish, without skipping a single second. That’s the whole 54 minutes and 46 seconds of musical bliss, to me.
