WWDC 2014 Keynote is about 10 hours away and I’m getting ready.
I have a fresh SanDisk Extreme II SSD and a spare iPhone that I can use to install OS X 10.10 and iOS 8 betas respectively.
This year Apple will be live-streaming WWDC Keynote. Can’t wait.

Who would’ve known that one of the members of N.W.A. would be working for Apple and while the other one is the star of family comedy movies such as Are We There Yet? and Are We Done Yet?.

CUPERTINO, California—May 28, 2014—Apple® today announced it has agreed to acquire the critically acclaimed subscription streaming music service Beats Music, and Beats Electronics, which makes the popular Beats headphones, speakers and audio software. As part of the acquisition, Beats co-founders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre will join Apple. Apple is acquiring the two companies for a total of $3 billion, consisting of a purchase price of approximately $2.6 billion and approximately $400 million that will vest over time.
Now that it is officially confirmed, we all can argue about the correct pronunciation of “Iovine”.

Apple is expected to preview the successor to OS X Mavericks at WWDC this coming June 2, 2014. Should Apple follow the current naming convention it would be called:

Apple announced that WWDC 2014 Keynote will be streamed live at 10:00 am on Monday June 2, 2014.
One can assume that Apple has one big announcement at WWDV 2014.
According to firstnameatappledotcom, key Apple employees have been spending extra time this year at Foxconn factory in China; hinting at possible introduction of new hardware at WWDC 2014.
