The Retina Display Debate.

I’ve heard em both. Within Apple there are those who want to call it “Retina Display” and there are who adamantly don’t. “Retina Display” is a marketing term.

Within Apple, the proponent believes the double pixel density should be called retina display. The opponent do not want to do so because the definition of “Retina Display” had to be changed. There is no doubt the double density pixels on the next iPad display looks better than great. It does not need the “Retina Display” marketing gimmick. Apple can simply say the next iPad has a high resolution display; iPad users will love it.

According to different source, some high level employees who report directly to Scott Forstall and Phil Schiller are coming back from their visit to Foxconn China factories. There are movement in the productions, one can safely guess that it is related to the March 7th, 2012 iPad event.

Random brain droppings.

Let’s see. I finally deployed the Synology DiskStation DS712+ at the office earlier today. It performs really well. Next I have to rebuild the Windows Home Server, but not before I upgraded the RAM. Then I helped someone setting up the company website. It is still early, a lot of works need to be done.

Anyway, Meatloaf T. Cat sent a picture:

Cat and Mouse.

Either busy working, or too much slacking. This is the only post I can come up with.

That’s an old Logitech MX310, 2010 27-inch iMac Core i7 and Meatloaf T. Cat.
