You’ve been posting and chatting about it for months and we’re here now to confirm it . . . Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax will all share the same stage for the first time EVER! Look for the four of us at the Sonisphere shows in Warsaw, Poland and Prague, Czech Republic on June 16 and 19, 2010 with a few more of the festival dates still in the works, you can be sure these shows won’t be the only ones.
“This is a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity for Heavy Metal “Fans” to see the four greatest Heavy Metal “Bands” in American History back together on one stage” concludes Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine. “If there are any heads left at the end of this Festival that haven’t banged, they don’t belong there.”
“American Carnage” is the first time that Slayer and Megadeth will have toured the U.S. together since 1991’s epic “Clash of the Titans” tour. To celebrate that and in recognition of the tough economic times that many of their fans are having, Megadeth and Slayer have decided to roll back the price of a chunk of tickets at every U.S. show to the “1991 price” of $10.00. These specially-priced tickets will be limited and when they’re gone, they’re gone. Megadeth has also teamed with iloveallaccess.com to provide an Ultimate Fan Package including premium seats, meet and greets, pre-show parties and more.
In addition, Testament – who was also on the “Clash of the Titans” bill, will be Special Guests on the entire tour, marking the first time that all three bands have shared a stage together in more than 18 years, and making this a “must see” metal event.

I don’t really know what Dave Mustaine is really thinking, but I’m hoping to see the “Big Four Tour” becoming a reality. Dave McRobb (Megadeth.com Webmaster and Overlord) posted Mustaine’s October 21st, 2009 post on Megadeth.com homepage.
Paraphrasing Mustaine: “Big Four Tour; a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
Does this mean Mustaine is open to the idea having Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax touring together?
I certainly hope so.
Well, the ticket price is likely to be on the expensive side.
Let the rumor fly!
Let them know that the Fans want this “Big Four Tour” to happen!
Transformers 2 kills in its opening five days with $200M (SCI FI Wire) | All the bad reviews did not stop people from watching this movie at all. Great. This will encourage Michael Bay to make more movies with more explosions.

It is officially revealed that Megadeth and Slayer will co-headline 4 Canadian dates in June. Dubbed as “Canadian Carnage,” this will be the first time Megadeth and Slayer playing on the same tour in more than 15 years. The tour will also feature Machine Head and Suicide Silence.
