Word of the day: SOPA

Rage Against The SOPA:

It’s such a SOPA-pera.

iCloud: No Time Capsule support.

Currently Time Capsule, Airport Extreme and AirPort Express do not have iCloud support. This means iCloud users can not access any AirPort Disk remotely. MobileMe service will be shut down in June 2012 and Apple has yet to mention if iCloud would support AirPort Disk.

March of the iPad 3.

According to an Apple employee who is definitely not Tim Cook, the next iPad is coming in March 2012. For the sake of this report let’s call the next iPad as “iPad 3”.

When asked about the release date of the next iPad after iPad 2 that might be called iPad 3, this Apple employee answered with one word: “March 2012”. Well, that’s not one word but the message is clear. Forget about the wild guess by Citigroup analyst who said the next iPad “could” come in February 2012.

Other than the March release date, the Apple employee is saying nothing else.

p.s. This Apple employee once again told me that I want the iPhone coming in 2012, not the one coming out in 2011. (reference)
