Our MacRumorsLive keynote coverage was hacked today, inserting inappropriate content into the text and photo feeds. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to restore our services. The hack appears to be limited to the MacRumorsLive servers so forum accounts should be safe. We’ll continue Macworld Expo coverage on an ongoing basis this week, and will report on Apple’s announcements shortly.
Reddit shows how MacRumorsLive got hacked.
m.atthew.net has made a statement: “I did not hack macrumors”

During Phil Schiller’s MacWorld San Francisco 2009, MacRumorsLive.com was hacked. MacRumors shut down the page minutes after. A line that said “Steve Jobs just died” was inserted into the feed. One message also carried 4CHAN.ORG badge.

I went to see Darren Carter on Saturday Night at Laugh Factory in Long Beach. After the show we headed to Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza for what else? Pizza. We were talking about number of topics and one of them was about the passing of John Travolta’s son. I knew that Darren worked with John Travolta in “Be Cool” movie.
I just read a nice post on Darren’s WordPress Blog about John Travolta as a father and a person. Forget about ideology and personal belief for a moment, it is always a tragedy for parents to lose any of their children. Well said, Darren.
