Meatloaf T. Cat and Panasonic HDC-SD5 AVCHD Camcorder

I would like to share a short video clip of Meatloaf T. Cat, taken using Panasonic HDC-SD5 AVCHD Camcorder.

Video info:

H.264 at 960×540 resolution.
3890.41 kbps data rate.
29.97 frame-rate.
1 minute and 30 seconds.
41.9MB file size.

Other info:

Taken using Panasonic HDC-SD5 AVCHD Camcorder.
Imported using Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 at 1920×1080 resolutions.
Title, transitions, and soundtrack added using iMovie ’08.
All work is done on a 2.0GHz 15″ MacBook Pro Core Duo with 2GB of PC5300 RAM Running Mac OSX 10.5.1 Leopard.
The background music is taken from a demo of a song titled “Curtain Call”.

Nine Inch Nails: Remixes by Fans

Trent Reznor has been providing Nine Inch Nails multi-track files for the fans to remix. The first track was made available was “The Hand That Feeds” back in 2005. A few years later, more songs are made available for fans to remix, deconstruct, reconstruct, rearrange, etc.

Apple Adds Option to Manually Manage Music and Videos for iPhone and iPod touch

With iTunes 7.6 and iPhone Software 1.1.3, Apple is bringing back the option to manually manage music and videos. Once you enable the option; you have to manually manage all music, movies and ringtones.

This option should also be available for iPod touch, unfortunately, I don’t have one to verify this.

Lyrics Support in iPhone’s iPod

iPhone Software 1.1.3 also brings lyrics support in iPod. Presumably this options is also available in iPod touch running software version 1.1.3.

When playing audio file in iPod mode, tap the screen to reveal the song lyrics. Providing that the lyrics is embedded in the file.

Adding lyrics to your music file:

In iTunes, select the track.
“Get info” on the track. Command-I (Mac OS X) or Control-I (Windows). Also can be invoked through “File > Get Info”.
Select the “Lyrics” tab.
Type or paste the lyrics in the box.
Click “OK”

One thing still missing from the iPod feature of the iPhone (and the iPod touch) is the ability to view podcast notes.
