Metallica’s Lars Ulrich is being sued by his former assistant.

Marin Independent Journal reports that Lars Ulrich of Metallica fame is being sued by his former assistant, Steven Wiig.

A Sausalito man who worked as a personal assistant to Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has filed a lawsuit claiming years of unpaid overtime.

Steven Wiig, 38, is seeking unspecified damages for alleged state and federal labor violations, breach of oral contract and continuing wages, according to the suit in Marin Superior Court. The lawsuit names Ulrich and Team Tours, a Burbank company that issued Wiig’s paychecks, as defendants.

A case management conference is set for June 24 before Judge Lynn Duryee.

Steven Wiig appeared at 1996’s Metallica Club Fan Can #1. Wiig can also be seen in 2004’s Metallica documentary Some Kind Of Monster.

Metallica is scheduled to play The Big 4 show in Indio, CA at the Empire Polo Club on April 23rd, 2011.

iPhone 4 for Verizon is now available for order to everyone, in the USA.

Apple and Verizon are taking iPhone 4 orders starting Midnight February 9th, 2011. iPhone 4 for Verizon will be available in stores starting Thursday February 10th, 2011.

Contrary to what you really want to believe, there is no White iPhone 4 available…yet.

It is funny how some Verizon Store employees are trying to make last minute sale on non-iPhone 4 on Tuesday.

Editing a post doesn’t preserve the correct publishing date.

Gary Moore, In Memoriam.

Gary Moore, one of my favorite guitar players has died in Spain today. He was 58 years old.

Moore, once a member of Thin Lizzy, had an illustrious career spanning around 42 years and was hailed one of Rock’s greatest guitar players.
