Oh Your God! John C. Dvorak is Using a Mac and Liking It.

John C. Dvorak, in his latest PC Magazine column reveals that he is using a Mac and liking it. This somehow reminds me of the current Trojan Condoms ad, a pig got wings.

Dvorak is perceived as an Apple and Mac basher for a long time. As a regular on Leo Laporte’s “This Week in Tech” Podcast, Dvorak often made crazy comments on both Apple and Macs. For example, Dvorak said in one column that Apple was planning to abandon Mac OS X in favor of Microsoft Windows. (link will be added later)

I found the article from Mac SuperFan Site MacDailyNews to be amusing.

Anyway, to quote Bender The Great:

“OH YOUR GOD!”

p.s. Can’t wait for new Futurama episodes/movies.

The Calm Before The iPhone Storm

Just a few days before Apple iPhone is going on sale, people just can’t stop talking about it. Many tech podcasts talk about, bash, drool at, etc. the iPhone.

Let’s see what’s happening this Friday, June the 29th, 2007.

Ratatouille
The latest movie from Pixar and Disney. Featuring the voice of Patton Oswalt. Oswalt is no stranger to animated movies and TV show. As a matter of fact, Oswalt is a regular on Reno 911!, both the TV series and the Movie.

OK, I got lazy here. I’ll update this post a bit later.

Leo Laporte’s Radio Show Chat Room New Slogan: “Buy an iPhone”

It was pretty fun today at Leo Laporte’s Radio Show Chat Room. For the last 90 minutes of the show, people in the chat room kept typing “Buy an iPhone” as the solutions to any problems.

  • Windows failed Genuine (dis)Advantage test? Get an iPhone, problem is solved.
  • Having trouble burning CD/DVD? Buy an iPhone, it will burn the discs for you.
  • Apple Mail not sending in Rich Text Format? iPhone will send all your emails in Rich Text Format.

Close to the end of the show, Leo actually repeated what the people in the chat room were saying. “Get an iPhone”.

Anyway, catch it on Show 364 podcast.
