Apple Introduces New iMac with Sandy Bridge CPU and Thunderbolt port.

As expected, Apple introduces two new models of iMac with Sandy Bridge CPU and Thunderbolt port. Both ready to ship 21.5-inch and 27-inch models come with Quad-Core Intel Core i5. Option for Quad-Core Intel Core i7 is available for custom order.

Notably, the 27-inch model comes with two Thunderbolt ports which enable the iMac to support simultaneous two external monitors.

Other notable features:

  • AMD Radeon 6750M and 6770M Graphics with 512MB of GDDR5 memory for the 21.5-inch and 27-inch model.
  • AMD Radeon 6770M Graphics with 512MB of GDDR5 Memory, 6970M Graphics with 1GBof GDDR5 Memory and 6970M Graphics with 2GB of GDDR5 Memory for the 27-inch model.
  • FaceTime HD camera.
  • SDXC card slot.

The new iMac is now available at Apple Online Store and Apple Retail Store.

Megadeth Starts Working On Its Thirteenth Studio Release.

Dave Mustaine announces through his Twitter account that Megadeth is working on its thirteenth studio release.

Day 1. Rolling in the Vanquish on a perfect day. Today starts my 13th studio release. Adrenaline’s high. Pray for Victory!

The follow up to 2009’s “Endgame” marks the return of Megadeth’s co-founding member and bass player David Ellefson. Presumably Megadeth will be recording the new release at Vic’s Garage, a home studio built in Mustaine’s own San Diego Home.

Possible Location of Osama Bin Laden’s Compound in Pakistan.

Based on the chatters about the crashed Helicopter in Kakul, Pakistan; some people are guessing where the location of Osama Bin Laden’s compound is.

Following the links on Sohaib Athar’s (@reallyVirtual) tweet, someone approximated the location of the crashed helicopter during the raid. A Facebook user posted the link to the possible location of Osama Bin Laden’s compound.

Dream Theater announces Mike as the new drummer, replacing their old drummer Mike.

It’s official, Dream Theater announces Mike as their new drummer, replacing their old drummer Mike. That’s Mike Mangini who replaces Mike Portnoy.

For sure the rest of the band would have no problem calling their new drummer the wrong name. It has always been Mike. Eddie Trunks knew this for a while.
