Saturday Night Live, The Social Network and Mark Zuckerberg.

I would like to say that I have not watched Saturday Night Live in 10 something years, I only checked facebook once a week or less and I have not seen The Social Network. I would also like to say that I was involved in the making of The Social Network, a small role in the production.

Apparently Mark Zuckerberg is making a cameo on Saturday Night Live with Jesse Eisenberg as host. How do I know that? Twitter. Wired.com said so.

Recap:

  • Have not watched Saturday Night Live in years.
  • Have not watched The Social Network even though I did some work for the production.
  • Have a Facebook account, but not really active on it.

I guess I won’t be talking about this Saturday Night Live when other people do (that’s you, Leo Laporte and TWiT).

So, where can I sign up as Industry Analyst?

Fortune’s Phillip Elmer De-Witt posted the “aftermath” to the showdown between the Pro and the Amateur on Apple’s Quarterly Earning Reports. It was no surprise that the Pro Analyst are beaten by the Amateurs.

I need a ob as Tech Industry Analyst with minimum of six-digit salary. I can make stuff up and be a lot more accurate than the current crops of Proffesional Analysts employed by the big firms.

2010 In Review

The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:

The Blog-Health-o-Meter™ reads “This Blog is dying just like BSD per Netcraft’s confirmations. Please stop blogging then retire. Don’t use computers anymore.

The Earth population is closed to 7 Billion people. This blog was viewed about 3.1415926535897932 times in 2010. If it were an item at Walmart, no one would even consider buying it.

In 2010, there were 12 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 14 posts. There were 10 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 1mb. That’s about a picture per month. What a joke!

The busiest day of the year was April 22nd with 5 views, yes 5 views. What a pathetic blog. The most popular post that day was Comedy Central does not approve Uncensored version of South Park Episode 201.

Where did they come from?

The top referring sites in 2010 were no one! Are you kidding me? No one links to this blog.

Some visitors came searching, mostly for sucky blog.

Dear WordPress, you don’t have to be so mean.

Twentieth Century Fox, apparently you missed one there.

Family Guy: It’s A Trap! is now officially released despite of some early leaks somewhere on the inter-tubes. Prior to the release of the DVD, a person who definitely did not attend the meeting between Seth McFarlane and John Jacobs informed us about a little joke within the movie. Similar to Futurama: Bender’s Big Score with mentions of ILoveBender.com, Family Guy: It’s A Trap! mentions hanjobs.org as part of a joke. Twentieth Century Fox registered the domain name hanjobs.org in advance of the release of the DVD.

Upon watching the actual movie, I found three other domain names within the jokes. They are:

Twentieth Century Fox for sure secured the domain names before the release of the DVD, didn’t they?

makemoneysuperfast.org

getcashfaster.org

Unfortunately Twentieth Century fox missed one domain name, getrichquicker.org record was created back in November 18th, 2009 by somebody else.

getrichquicker.org

Ah well, I’m going to watch the special features from Futurama Volume 5 DVD.

Family Guy, Twentieth Century Fox, It’s A Trap and hanjobs.org.

UPDATE:
Unlike the great Futurama team, those overpaid Family Guy team and Fox are too lazy to put anything up on those domains.

A little birdie who definitely has not been rummaging through John Jacobs’ desk sent a little tidbit about the upcoming release of Family Guy Star Wars Parody, titled: It’s A Trap!

Nothing is up yet, but the same birdie who definitely has not been going through Seth McFarlane’s MacBook Air said that Fox is planning to put something up on hanjobs.org once the DVD is released.

It’s A Trap! is scheduled for release December 21st, 2010.
