Maybe it’s time to cancel HBO Max Subscription

HBO Max has been “cracking down” on account sharing for quite sometimes now. I first got the message some months ago, even though I technically did not share my account. I do however watch HBO Max at the office, where I have an Apple TV.

I also occasionally watch HBO Max at a home office at my friend’s house which we often do work on.

In addition to that I also use my iPad and iPhone to watch some HBO Max.

Apparently HBO Max system is flagging my account as being shared.

The worst part is now I kept getting this message whenever I’m launching HBO Max app at home.

Maybe it’s time to cancel the subscription.

Metallica: Load (Remastered) – Deluxe Box Set

Metallica released its sixth full length album “Load” on June 4, 1996. That’s a little over 30 years ago. 😱

Earlier today we received the Deluxe Box Set of “Load” (Remastered).

There are some amazing songs off this record and some of them still take repeated listening to enjoy.

About that Cat Coffee mentioned in REACHER

I just finished watching REACHER Season 3 Episode 5. Since Amazon decided to take away the X-Ray feature from Prime Video App on Apple TV, there are no trivia’s about one particular scene in the episode. Well, I did check the Prime Video App on iPad and it still has the X-Ray feature, but no trivia’s about the scene.

The dialogue in the scene says: “They feed coffee beans to cats,”

Pretty sure it is a reference to “Kopi Luwak” or civet coffee.

The “cat” refers to Asian palm civet.

No spoilers though.

Daredevil: Born Again

First two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again have been made available on Disney+ on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

It is a much more cinematic than its predecessor, thanks to the Disney’s production budget.

The series is presented in a wide, closer to 2.4:1 ratio; which made it a lot more cinematic.

Let’s see where Daredevil: Born Again will take the audience to.

Showing No Mercy!

I preordered Slayer’s “Show No Mercy” 40th Anniversary Edition, Liquid “blood” filled vinyl directly from Metal Blade Records shop. It was priced at $199.99 + sales tax; and friend thought that I was crazy. I’m a huge fan of Slayer and it’s worth the price.

Shortly after the preorder was sold out, numerous posting on eBay priced this limited edition vinyl at $999.99 and supposedly sold out too. I do despise eBay scalpers. They shouldn’t be allowed to resell preorders.

My friends and I had been buying used Blu-ray Discs from website that supposed to help people declutter their house.

We just received Star Trek, Star Wars, and Conan the Barbarian Blu-ray today. Now we are buying more, along with a few CDs.
