Shameless plug: “This is Meg“, a film by Alex Ferrari is now available on iTunes. “This is Meg” is written, produced and also shamelessly promoted by the film star, Jill-Michele Meleán, who is a good friend of ours.
The film also features Carlos Alazraqui, another good friend of ours.
UPDATE: This is Meg is also available on Amazon Video.
Come to think of it, there are a lot of our friends in this movie. You just have to see the list.
Carlos Alazraqui sent the continuation to the video he recorded earlier in December 2009. There has been some dispute in Wikipedia regarding his Birthplace. Some Wikipedia editors insisted that Carlos was born in Sacramento, California citing information from IMDB. Some Wikipedia editors said that Carlos was born in Yonkers, New York.
In this video, Carlos set the record straight.
Carlos: “The real answer is I was born in Yonkers, New York. And then very quickly moved to Northern California. Raised and grew up in Concord, California…….”
There you go, IMDB is incorrect. Wikipedia Editors who said Yonkers, New York are correct.

This is definitely a shameless plug for our friends’ project.
Our good friend Jill-Michele Meleán (MADtv, RENO:911!), has a new movie coming out soon. “This Is Meg” which is based on Jilly’s life story is directed by Alex Ferrari and also crowd-funded through Indie Film Hustle.
The film also features another good friend of ours, Carlos Alazraqui (Rocko’s Modern Life, RENO: 911!).
“This Is Meg” is currently in post-productions.
On Saturday, October 22, 2016 the cast of “This Is Meg” held a fundraising show at The Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, CA. The show was arranged by Carlos Alazraqui himself; dubbed as “Carlos and The Angels”. The show featured Jilly, Carlos, Lahna Turner, Shawn Pelofsky and Joseph Reitman. A sold-out show where the proceeds from the show goes to the post-productions fund. Reitman opened the show and acted as the MC; a great one. Pelofsky was “stretching it” to the roaring laughters. Turner, who was a late addition to the show, had the audience sing along to her song. Jilly introduced Alex Ferrari in the middle of her set while keeping the audiene laughing. Carlos closed the show talking about his ne role as a father of two young daughters. The audience certainly had a great time as it was a great show.
Justin Baker (Alazraqui’s Social Media Director) is taking photos of Carlos, Lahna, Alex, Jilly and Joseph. Shawn had to leave early.

SIMPSORAMA
A SHOW OUT OF IDEAS TEAMS UP WITH A SHOW OUT OF EPISODES
So true!
“Simpsorama” turned out to be the first new The Simpsons episode the I watched for at least the last 12 years. I want new Futurama episodes; damn you Fox, Comedy Central and all the humans! Umm, please ignore that last part.
This crossover within Matt Groening’s universe is a lot more The Simpsons than Futurama. It is nice to see the Planet Express gang, but it left me wanting more after blurting “That’s all they can come up with?”
Now, can we get new Futurama episodes that would definitely be written better than “Simpsorama”?
There are at least three different responses from bender@ilovebender.com. Don’t bother going to ilovebender.com since it is now redirects to fox movies.com.
Response number 1:
Dear New Friend,
Thank you for writing to me, Bender. It really means a lot to me. Not many humans contact me because I am so rude and impatient. You’re starting to get on my nerves now. Quit buggin’ me, meatbag!
P.S. – Buy my DVD.
Love,
Bender
Response number 2:
Aloha, Friend!
Bender Bending Rodriguez here, better known as the Robot King. Did you know that the Hawaiian word “Aloha” can mean both “hello” and “goodbye”? However, in the following usage, it only means goodbye. Aloha, jerk!
Yours truly,
Bender
P.S. – Please buy my DVD. And once again, aloha. Jerk.
Dear Admirer,
Thank you for taking the time to write to me, Bender. Although I deleted your email without looking at it, I’m sure it was very boring. Write again soon!
Your robot pal,
Bender
P.S. – If you buy less than eight copies my DVD, you’re a cheapskate.

P.S. Hi Reddit!
“The Gunfighter” is definitely one of the best short films I have ever seen.
I have worked on a few short films and I wished I did work on this one.

Thanks to Michael B. Johnson and John Gruber for pointing this out.
