Chief Rodent Control Officer

A few years ago, our office was infested by rats. The infestation started when the building across from us were being renovated. It took us almost a year to clear out the infestation. We did open the wall to clear out these rodents.

A Rat inside a wall reaching into drainage pipe.

These days we still found a few rats on the warehouse; something that is apparently common with this type of building. We have exterminators pay a visit periodically preventing rat infestation.

Sometimes last year, I noticed a few cats in the building backyard. Anecdotally, I noticed that we had fewer incidents with rats since these cats “moved in” to our location.

Now I’m hiring one of them as Chief Rodent Control Officer.

It is an Orange Cat kind of day.

Well, today I visited a friend who happened to be an Orange Tabby. He might not be a pure Orange Tabby, legend has it that he shares a single brain cell with other Orange Cats. Well that’s not true, because apparently it is I who share a brain cell.

I forgot the password to a newly set-up computer and I had to reset it to make it useful. Later on, I did find the password, written on a note.

Six and Anxiety

It had been a busy day on the sixth day of 2025. We installed a few new security cameras on a location, replacing the old and outdated ones.

I feel a bit anxious today for a particular reason. If you know, you know.

By the way, a colleague of ours procured a “Tuxedo Cat” LEGO earlier.

Day Two of 2025: The Quickening of Electric Boogaloo

A friend sent a photo of a tuxedo cat in the area which is the follow up to the “Tuxedo Cat” LEGO trend.

“Tuxedo Cat” LEGO

Day two of 2025 and we’re all back to work. A broken down computer in need of repair. Other than that it had been pretty uneventful at our office. Tomorrow might be different as we are expecting the first shipment of the year.

Here we go again, 2025 edition.

The calendar resets and here we are on January 1, 2025.

There are a lot we want to and can share here. Hopefully we can find the time and the discipline to post here.

P.S. a friend sent a photo of “Tuxedo Cat” LEGO for this post.

P.S. p.s. Happy New Year

Grape Tomato Cat

We bought some Grape Tomatoes earlier today.

As usual, it only took a few seconds after we set the box down.

She might look scraggly, you would have understand that because she is at least 20 years old.

July 3, 2021: The day before the Fourth

One day before the so called “let’s set off tons of firework day” in the United States, which is also known as one of the worst days for house pets. I could hear fireworks throughout the day. It started peaking around 21:00 hour, or 09:00 PM for most, as a local firework show started. One of the pets at home started panicking. One way he was coping with the absolute torture to the ears, is to rip apart one of the throw pillows from the couch. Tomorrow night is going to get worse.

Speaking of fireworks, some of you might have heard about the “controlled-explosion” of illegal fireworks seized by Los Angeles Police Department; that went out of control.

Anyway, I finally got to break the seal off Japan exclusive of Helloween self-titled CD.

Helloween Japan Exclusive CD with “We Are Real” track

It contains total of 14 songs on 2 CDs, with “We Are Real” as Japan exclusive track. Each Packaging comes with one out of seven randomly selected sticker featuring illustration of Helloween mark VII band member. This pack contains illustration of Andi Deris, on of three current vocalists, of Helloween.

The Fourth of July is coming up, and I have to find ways to calm all the pets in the house.
