It’s Raining in Southern California, November 2019 Edition
It’s finally raining again here in Southern California. To my recollections, the year 2019 started with a rainy 13 weeks, then nothing for another 26.
Okay, I need to find a statistic and correct my statement above.

I was on my walk and saw a few people pointing at a pair of raccoons. I approached them and one came close to me, seemingly wondering if I had any food for them.
It Only Takes 6 Betas
Apple seeds iOS 13 beta 6 build 17A5556d on Wednesday August 7, 2019. I’m feeling brave enough to install this beta on my main device, an iPhone XS Max.
I’ve been running iOS 13 betas on my secondary device, an iPhone X since day 1.
Next up is installing watchOS 6 beta 6 on my Apple Watch.
Avatar and Avengers: Endgame, an Ode to Zoe Saldana
To paraphrase Mr. Big’s 1992 song To Be With You:
“Waited on a line of greens and blues”
As of June 23, 2019, Avatar and Avengers: Endgame are the first and second highest grossing films of all time, respectively. Avengers: Endgame headed back to the theater with unreleased footage in effort to unseat Avatar.
Whether or not the attempt is successful, both films have the same name in the casts: Zoe Saldana.
She was blue in Avatar and green in Avengers: Endgame.
One more note, both 20th Century Fox (distributor of Avatar) and Marvel Studios (Production company of Avengers: Endgame) are subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios.

First there was a loud crashing sound…
I was at the end of Chat Support with Apple when I heard a loud crashing sound right outside the building. I then typed:
I gotta go, there’s a crash outside the building;

Firefighters were on the scene within 120 seconds, as the accident was only 20 feet away from a Fire Station.
It looked like there were total of three vehicles involved in the accident, I could only see two including the pick-up truck pictured above. People were gathering around as eyewitnesses described what they saw to the firefighters.
Police arrived a few minutes later.
We should have DashCam as a standard equipment in all new cars. Retrofitting DashCam into existing cars is also a great idea.
