I love the paper Bender someone left at the office, so why not paper Zoidberg?
That’s Futurama Volume 6 DVD in the picture. I wonder if the Blu-ray version is worth geting.

In the morning of February 10th, 2012 I received a frantic phone call from a client; their site was compromised. So I spent good portions of Friday and Saturday cleaning up a site that was hacked through MySQL injection. I found out that the hack came through an old installation of WordPress 2.1.4.
So far, so good. I’ll be watching the site for any suspicious activities.
One thing that cheers me up right now is knowing someone took the time making a paper Bender and left it at the office. Working late at the office replacing a broken power supply off a server. In addition to that I just sanitized a site that was compromised.
You can download and make your own paper Bender from Cubecraft. Gold Bender from Universe-1 is also available.
While you’re there, give some love for Dr. Zoidberg and Blue Dr. Zoidberg from Universe-1.
Apple (AAPL) shares hit record high today at 496.72 and closed at 493.17; up 16.49 from Wednesday February 8th, 2012. The way it is right now, Apple will soon break 500.
The record breaking quarter for fiscal 2012 first quarter might have something to do with it. Apple is expected to release the third generation of iPad before the first half of 2012, then followed by the sixth generation of iPhone. On the rumor mill, Apple is supposedly working on a television set. Apple will still be busy in 2012.
Apple has one interesting product transition that might see the light of day in 2012. Apple has been quietly working on this product for the last six years since the transition to x86 platform. Just like many, it was a skunkworks project that now seems to make sense. We all have to wait and see.
For disclosure I do not explicitly own AAPL stocks or any stocks.
A Different Kind Of Truth, the latest full length studio recording from Van Halen with David Lee Roth 28 years after 1984 (the title and the release year of the album). Gone is Michael Anthony, replaced by a Van Halen, Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen’s son on Bass duty. So that’s 3 Van Halens (Alex, Eddie and Wolfie) and David Lee Roth. Consider this Van Halen IV.
I received the CD, yes CD, one day after it hit the streets, and one day earlier than what Amazon.com promised. All is good. I immediately imported the CD into iTunes; synched to iTunes Match, Google Music and Amazon Cloud Drive. Best of both worlds, having the physical CD and in the cloud.
Anyway, I listen to the CD and I generally love it. To me it is almost like a follow up to 1984. Wolfie definitely inherits his family musical talents. I’m going to listen to A Different Kind Of Truth a few more times today.
The headline: Path Uploads Your Entire iPhone Address Book to Its Servers
Path‘s response: We are sorry
We made a mistake. Over the last couple of days users brought to light an issue concerning how we handle your personal information on Path, specifically the transmission and storage of your phone contacts.
…….
In Path 2.0.6, released to the App Store today, you are prompted to opt in or out of sharing your phone’s contacts with our servers in order to find your friends and family on Path. If you accept and later decide you would like to revoke this access, please send an email to service@path.com and we will promptly see to it that your contact information is removed.
Path iOS App version 2.0.6 now warns users before uploading the content of Address Book.
That’s a proper response from Path.

The reactions: Delete Path from iPhone (iOS device)
Email service@path.com and request to delete your Address Book data from Path servers.
Hi (First Name of Path User),
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I have erased your contacts and their information from our servers.
On behalf of the team, I’d like to apologize for any privacy concerns that you may have had. Our current release of Path for Android requests permission to access your address book. In the next iOS release, we will have this same permission request added.
Until the update is released for iOS, selecting “Add Friends” will display the names of contacts that you have stored on your phone. But now that you’ve opted out of contact uploading, we will never re-store this data on our servers.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you. I’m more than happy to address any further questions or concerns that you may have.
Best,
(First Name of Path Service Personnel)
That’s simple enough.
