To camp or not to camp.

This should be called “Glutton for punishment, part II” because I’m seriously considering to get the new iPad on the release day. That means I have to go to the nearest Apple Store after Midnight. to be honest I value my sleep time a lot. I’ll mak the decision sometimes Thursday afternoon.

Apple will start selling the new iPad at 08:00 PM local time.

Scumbag Tech Elitist: Open Source

New feature called “Scumbag Tech Elitist” premiers with this post.

Topic: Open Source

Scumbag Tech Elitist preaches about Open Source, why it is better and why he supports it. Scumbag Tech Elitist blathers on and on why he likes Android and makes one big endorsement because it is Open Source.

Scumbag Tech Elitist then endorses SquareSpace while badmouthing WordPress.

Wait a minute Mr. Scumbag Tech Elitist,

  • WordPress is an Open Source Project.
  • There are no mentions that SquareSpace is an Open Source Project. It is never declared as an Open Source Project.
  • There are self-install WordPress.org and fully hosted WordPress.com.
  • SquareSpace is a sponsor of Scumbag Tech Elitist.

Well that is too convenient, Mr. Scumbag Tech Elitist.

Working with what you have.

I was called into a small photo shoot session today. Right before the session started, someone suggested that “behind the scene” video would be a great idea. Unfortunately no one brought a real video cameras other than their phones and point-and-shoot cameras. Well, if no one counted the Digital SLR’s.

I ended up using my Canon EOS 60D to shoot the video while someone else took the pictures.

You have to work with what you have.

Spring Forward

Hey, why the clock is one hour faster? I think I just lost an hour.

Oh, it’s the Daylight Saving Time already.

I gotta go to sleep, but not before I adjusted the clocks in the house one hour ahead.

  • Microwave, check.
  • Stove, check.
  • Wall clock, check.
  • Grandfather clock…… I don’t have a Grandfather clock.
  • Digital SLR Camera? Oh, it’s automatically adjusting the clock.
  • The clock in the cars…… I’ll do it when I actually get some sleep.

OK, I’m going to bed!

I forgot about that leap day.

One thing I just remembered today about one year warranty. One year is defined as 365 days. So if you bought an iPad 2 on March 11th, 2011 the one year warranty expires on March 9th, 2012.

Luckily AppleCare Customer Service Representative is so nice to help me register the AppleCare agreement that I purchased months ago. I just forgot to register it or even to keep the receipt.

Thanks AppleCare.
