Bath Time!

Tubby is giving Ginger One a bath. We called her Tubby because she was really tubby as a kitten. Tubby is not the mommy of Ginger One, she is no longer broken (fixed).

Ginger One is looking a loving home.

Seems Legit: LinkedIn part 14.

How in the world I got an email from linked in as if I had an account on one particular email? Oooh, someone wants to connect with me, and I don’t even remotely recognized the name.

Perian Project comes to a close.

From perian.org:

We began the Perian project over 6 years ago. We wanted to simplify viewing your content. Our team has attained that goal and with that in mind, Perian will be retired soon. Our stewardship has been a blast but it’s time for all of us to move on.

…….

Starting 90 days after the final Perian release, we will no longer provide support. We’ll wrap up our loose ends, pack up our bags, and move on to new and exciting projects.

Here’s what our roadmap looks like:

  • We will soon release the final version of Perian, including all the fixes we’ve worked on since the last release. It may — or may not — work on 10.8.
  • We will post the source code to either Google Code or Github.

Thanks to The Perian Project Team members for doing such a great job all these years.

Ginger One and Ginger Two

Ever wonder why I called the red-headed kitten Ginger One? That’s because there’s Ginger Two. Both of them are having some goo in their eyes, I’m cleaning their eyes everyday. Anyway, some say Gingers don’t have souls, one of the kittens definitely has one.

That broken iPhone bumper.

I have been using an iPhone 4 with a bumper. The day comes as the bumper needs to be replaced. Someone who I refer to as firstnameatappledotcom gave me another bumper, but in a different color. I shouldn’t complain since it was free.

Apple WWDC 2012: Low Hanging Fruits

Apple Worldwide Developer Conference 2012 is exactly four weeks away from today. Many has predicted what Apple might unveil in WWDC 2012, and Captain Obvious already called them.

  • OS X Mountain Lion
  • iOS 6
  • New Macs

Don’t hold your breath for any new iPhone or even iPad in June, save that iPhone for the Fall.

The mysterious firstnameatappledotcom did not say a word when asked about the fate of Mac Pro while nodded to the mention of MacBook Pro with an asterisk. An asterisk? I was told:

You can surely wait until WWDC then you can buy a MacBook Pro. It is worth the wait.

I certainly trust firstnameatappledotcom for the non-information (*wink wink*).
