There are many reasons why you should secure your Wireless Access Point (WAP). We were informed that an 86 year old woman received a Notice of Copyright Infringement by the ISP for downloading a Pokemon game through BitTorrent. How can an 86 year old woman be downloading Pokemon game through BitTorrent? Upon investigation, the 86 year old woman had an unsecured wireless network which she uses to connect her iPad. It is the likely scenario that an unknown individual was using her wireless network to download the Pokemon game.

Since then the wireless network has been secured with WPA2 encryption.

It must have been a slow news day for The New York Times to write hit-piece on Apple. Does anyone remember the ill-conceived piece on The New York Times taking a swing at Apple? The New York Times is at it again, wanting to kick Apple where it hurts. Since the story about China doesn’t hurt Apple that much, thanks to Mike Daisey’s “best selling” fiction, The New York Times is going after Apple Retail Store.
