Google is Reported to Reserve 1 Million Phone Numbers for Google Voice.

PC World said that Google is reported to have reserved 1 Million Phone Number for its Google Voice service. This is good news if it’s true, because the service has not been made available to new users even after Google rebranded GrandCentral into Google Voice back on March 11th, 2009.

Google Voice is currently available for existing GrandCentral users. It is unclear if Google Voice will be made available for users outside The United States.

Anything Goes: June 20th, 2009 Edition.

Slacking is good, as I’ve been convincing myself. It’s Saturday and I’m still reading stuff off the internet.

First I’ve finished installing new hard drive on my MacBook Pro Core Duo, 20 minutes after I stareted it. Along the way I also managed to “fix” my keyboard. For a few days I’ve been having lots of typoes including the letter “t.” Apparently a drop of liquid caused the “g, r, and y” key to trigger the “t” key. I’m glad it is fixed now.

Time to slack again.

I’m suffering from sleep depravation but still have time to browse the Internet for some news.

iPhone 3G S: Reports from Orange County, California.

People are arriving at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa around 4:00 in the morning. The doors are not open yet, so people are lining up outside.

Doors open, people are walking in.

The line is split in two. One for those who had started the process online (reserved line) and the other for those who have not done so.

Side note:
A glitch during the reservation process did not save my reservation. I pre-ordered one on June 8th, 2009.

So close and yet so far.

Apple Store Concierge is helping customer starting the pre-qualification process.

A reporter asking people some questions.

The store opens earlier than scheduled. People are getting their iPhone 3G S.
