WordPress 2.8.3 is Released.

The great folks at WordPress.org have just released maintenance update to WordPress software. WordPress 2.8.3 can be obtained through WordPress.org site or can be automatically upgraded through WordPress Dashboard.

The automatic upgrade process was fast and painless.

Apple Releases SMS Fix Through iPhone Software 3.0.1.

Less than 24 hours after the demonstration of SMS Hack at Black Hat Technical Security Conference, Apple releases iPhone OS 3.0.1 with the promised fix. Apple was notified of the security flaw six weeks before the demonstrations of the flaw. Apple iPhone is not the only platform vulnerable to this exploit. Android and Windows Mobile platforms are also vulnerable.

iPhone OS 3.0.1 carries the build number 7A400.

Apple finally releases MobileMe iDisk App for iPhone and iPod touch on the iTuns App Store. MobileMe iDisk App requires iPhone OS 3.0 or higher.

iPhone OS 3.1 beta 3 build 7C116a: Tethering Data Meter.

Just a screenshot from iPhone OS 3.1 beta 3 build 7C116a showing the “Tethering Data” meter. I don’t remember seeing it on iPhone OS 3.1 beta 2.

By the way, thanks to AT&T we in the U.S.A. still don’t have the tethering with the iPhone.
