Two Weeks Later…

Oh yes, we had crazy winds, wildfires, and now freeze warning in Southern California.

Freeze Warning via Carrot Weather

It has been pretty cold and yes I would like to see freezing temperatures in Southern California.

Rage Against Non-Existent Customer Service

I’m just having hard times contacting customer service today. The issue started late last week with a vague message. I made number of calls and attempted to chat with customer service. I got different answers each time or no responses whatsoever.

I should calm down and forget this issue. It’s not worth my sanity.

It makes sense, dozen it?

We’re currently cleaning up our storage at the office. There are more than a dozen of old printers that no longer work. There are also numbers of still usable computers with Intel Core 2 processors. We’re going to repurpose those computers.

Eleventh Hour Photography

Yesterday I was having issues with my DSLR Camera as it was unable to access the memory card. At first I thought that the camera was the problem as I was able to access the memory card on the computer.

After swapping cards and card adapters, I found out the SD to microSD card adapter in the camera was the problem. It works with other devices but not with the camera. So, with another SD card adapter, I was able to format the microSD card.

Well, after a few test, managed to capture quite a few blurry photos.

Tendencies

The featured photo on this post was taken on Friday, January 8, 2021; four years and two days ago.

It was a foggy night as I was strolling through the town. There was an eerie feeling that night.

I have the tendencies to stroll around in the middle of the night, looking for inspirations.

Ashes in the Wind

“All we are is dust in the wind.” -Kansas, the band, not the State.

As expected , the ashes from the wildfires are descending upon the surface where we dwell. The smell of smokes dominates the air.

I spoke to a friend who I rarely speak to because of these wildfires. I’m glad that they are safe.

Eight Fold Path to Preserve the Moment

I dug up my DSLR Camera that I had not used for quite a few years, partially thanks to the advancement in phone cameras. I was hoping to capture the moments of the day, in particular the Crimson Sunset as the result of the wildfires in Southern California.

Unfortunately I had a few appointments today that prevented me from reaching the spot where I could photograph the Sunset on time.

I have charged the batteries and prepared the memory cards. I hope I could capture a few slice of tomorrow.
