Apple “Spring Forward” Special Event

Apple March 2015 Spring Forward

Apple will be streaming the “Spring Forward” event live at Apple.com/live at 10:00 a.m. from Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. Not sure if you had to brush up on your Mandarin or Mandolin.

As usual, some sites will be covering the event live. Links will be added and updated.

Apple Events channel appears on Apple TV.

Tim Cook (@tim_cooktweets:

Got some extra rest for today’s event. Slept in ’til 4:30.

What time does he usually wake up?

Apple Store goes into maintenance mode ahead of the event.

iPad 2 and iOS 4.3 Are Coming March 11, 2011.

Apple unveils iPad 2 and set March 11, 2011 as the release date. 1GHz Dual Core A5 Processor, front and rear camera, 1080p HDMI support, comes in black and white. Yes white model, unlike the ever-promised white iPhone 4.

iOS 4.3 will see the light of day presumably when iPad 2 ships. Developers should be getting the GM build pretty soon.

This is a short post. Will be back for the link for the Video from the event.

Sources Say That New Apple Product Will Be Available For Order Today.

A short message from a source who insisted on anonymity and is not Phil Schiller, a new Apple product will be available for order at the Apple Store today. Could the new iPad be available for order today? Is it possible for the new iPad to be available at Apple Store today? It could be something that has almost been forgotten (hint, hint!).

Head to Apple Online Store after the iPad Special Event wrapped.

By the way, Apple Online Store is closed for maintenance.

Apple March 2nd iPad Event Live Coverage Links.

Apple is holding a special event at Yerba Buena Center For The Arts on Wednesday on March 2nd, 2011. Apple is hinting that the event is iPad related. As usual, numbers of sites, journalists and bloggers will be providing live coverage from the event.

Links will be added as they are made available. Links are alphabetically ordered.

The “maybe providing coverage” list:

Meta-coverage by TWiT.tv.

I wonder if John Gruber would spend his Daring Fireball money to fly out to San Francisco for this event?

It would be another big surprise if Apple is streaming the event live on Apple.com.

Live coverage will definitely stars shortly on March 2nd, 2010 before:

  • 08:00 AM – Hawaii
  • 10:00 AM – Pacific
  • 11:00 AM – Mountain
  • 12:00 PM – Central
  • 01:00 PM – Eastern
  • 06:00 PM – London
  • 07:00 PM – Paris
  • 03:00 AM – Tokyo (March 3rd)
  • 05:00 AM – Sydney (March 3rd)

NOTES:
What do Leo Laporte, Ryan Block and Gizmodo have in common? They are not invited to this event.

Apple’s “Come see our latest creation.” Live Coverage links.

As usual, a lot of eyes will be glued to the screen during Apple Special Event. This time it would be no different. Apple’s “Come see our latest creation.” event begins at 10:00 AM Pacific Time on Wednesday 27th, 2010

Most of us do not get any invitations from Apple to the Special Event at Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, thus we can “participate” by going to on or more of the followings:

I’ll add more links as they are found.

The “fake” info:

According to an imaginary source who claimed to be a high ranking Apple Executive that is definitely not Tim Cook, this new Apple “creation” would have the following:

  • 6.75-inch x 8.72-inch dimension, thickness was not disclosed.
  • 6.375-inch x 8.345-inch screen size.

So far, that was all the info given by this all-made-up-mysterious-Apple-Executive who is definitely not Phil Schiller. Remember that the nimber given was not an accurate measurement of the device itself due to some rounding errors.

Apple has been leaking out some fake info and we were foolish enough to report it even though we know they are fake. It will be narrower then the dimension we reported earlier. This we know, the new device Apple will be revealing on Wednesday will have the Apple logo in portrait orientation just like the iPhone. All in good fun.

Apple: It's only rock and roll but we like it.

Well, it’s that time of the year again when Apple unveils its new line-up of iPod and anything related to it.

First and foremost, I wouldn’t be anywhere near Yerba Buena Center to cover the event. Last year I was in the vicinity during the Special Event. Well, if anyone considers 400 miles is a “really short” distance, then I’m nearby The Yerba Buena Center to cover this event.

Since I won’t be there at all, because I don’t get any invitations; even if I did I wouldn’t want to spend the money at this time. Here are the “It’s only rock and roll, but we like it” live coverage links:

As usual, links will be added as they are somewhat confirmed. Apple’s “It’s only rock and roll, but we like it” Special Event starts at 10:00AM Pacific Time/01:00PM Eastern Time/05:00PM UTC/GMT 09.09.09.
