‘Twas the night before WWDC 2012.

WWDC 2012 Keynote is set to go on at 10:00 AM San Francisco time, and the chatters are still going strong. There is no doubt that almost all of them are wishful thinking and made-up stuff. There are some good ones but they could be traps set by Apple.

Somehow I want this rumor to be true:

“The Mac Pro as we know it is as good as gone. What if there’s a tower-type Mac that is smaller and lighter than Mac Pro but still has room for expansions?”

Two pieces of information that will make sense after the keynote:

  • There will be a nice surprise for Apple Developers.
  • Sometimes in July.

Well, just like many people, I’m looking forward to WWDC 2012 Keynote.

WWDC 2012 Keynote Live Coverage Links.

It is that time of the year again, Apple WWDC Keynote. As usual there will be numbers of sites covering the keynote live.

WWDC 2012 Keynote starts at 10:00 San Francisco time on June 11th, 2012.

Please keep checking back as links will be updated as they become available.

Note:

The Apple logo in the WWDC 2012 page is composed of squares with rounded corners; similar with icons of iOS Apps.

p.s.

The ever mysterious firstnameatappledotcom sent us a message:

“You may want to shell out a couple hundreds of bucks and some change for Apple Developer account after the keynote, if you haven’t already. There’ll be a nice surprise for those who attend WWDC workshop. You’ll get that later.”

We have renewed our Developer membership.

Laugh and a half.

Apple rumors are gearing up as we approached June 11th, 2012 for WWDC. Someone had the idea to circulate rumor about “Retina Display” on MacBook Pro. I asked my trusted source, firstnameatappledotcom about this particular rumor. The answer I got:

Maybe you’re sitting too close to the screen.

Followed with cryptic laugh and a half.

Apple will still sell new MacBook Pros with “non-Retina Display” after WWDC 2012. If there were such things as “Retina Display” MacBook Pros, it would be a build to order option or a higher end model.

What was the question?

I have just received a message from firstnameatappledotcom:

“Sometimes in July.”

The problem is that I don’t even know what the question is. If I had to guess, I’d say it would be about one of the followings if not more:

  • I’d be briefed on the next Apple products.
  • I’d be shown the next Apple products.
  • I’d be given an Apple Product.
  • I’d be given a test unit of the next Apple product. (This one is a wishful thinking.)
  • I’d be asked to return the test unit to Apple.
  • None of the above.
  • Something I can’t think of.

Anyway, WWDC 2012 is less than two weeks away. According to firstnameatappledotcom this year’s WWDC has a big surprise for Apple Developers. Well, it depends on Apple’s definition of what “big surprise” is.

Memorial Day

Monday May 28th, 2012 is a holiday in the United States; in observance of Memorial Day.

Sure there are a lot of news out there, but a lot of us are doing something other than sitting in front of the computer. We will go back to our regularly schedule work the day after.

p.s. WWDC 2012 is two weeks away.
