It seems that Microsoft never learns not to mess with people’s computer. In this case, we’re talking about Windows 11 upgrade.
There are reasons why certain users are staying on Windows 10. That’s because certain applications are not working, properly or at all, in Windows 11.
Must we tell Windows not to upgrade to Windows 11 every month?
I could not believe how Windows 8.1 failed to install on a computer that has a factory-installed Windows 8.
I’d have to wipe the hard drive again and use the system-restore discs on this computer.

This new Windows must help our customers be productive in both their digital work and their digital life. This new Windows must empower people and organizations to do great things.
Windows 8 is so two years ago. Here comes Windows 9.
That new Windows is Windows 10.

Microsoft, you just skipped Windows 9.
OK, Windows branding and numbering system never made sense anyway. From Windows XP to Windows Vista to Windows 7. Then it went to 8. Why not call it Windows X, as in Roman numeral for 10? Maybe not, because it looks like that other Operating System with X in it, or that desktop shell called X Window System.
Tomorrow, we are excited to announce the Windows Insider Program, where PC experts and IT Pros can get access to a technical preview of Windows 10 for desktops and laptops. Soon after, we’ll also be releasing technical previews of Windows Server and our management tools.
OK, I’ll certainly be there tomorrow.
By the way, Windows 10 will finally get Multiple Desktop just like Linux and OS X.
Apple released iTunes 11.3.1
iTunes 11.3.1 addresses a problem where subscribed podcasts may stop updating with new episodes and resolves an issue where iTunes may become unresponsive while browsing your podcasts episodes in a list.

Apple also adds iTunes Extra to Apple TV.
It seems a lot of people having issues with Windows 8.x. Somehow it is impossible to refresh/reinstall Windows 8 because the drive was “locked”.
There are a lot of suggestion on what to do in solving this issue, but none of them seems to be the solution.
I have been getting a lot of phone calls that Office 365 is having trouble with activation. According to users, their copy of Office 365 was previously activated.
This is especially annoying because they actually paid for the subscriptions.
