Out in the Rain

It has been raining since morning and I felt like drowning in a flood. This would be the first rain in March, 2025; and more to come.

I went to a fast food restaurant and I saw two police officers talking to a possibly an unhoused person. From a little I gathered, the fast food restaurant employees asked this person to vacate the premises due to complaints from other customers. This person was reportedly screaming at the employees. They called the police.

If only there’s some kind of social services in the area that could take this person in. I don’t think it is right just to leave a human being out in the pouring rain.

I still dont know what to do.

It’s raining and we got a leak.

So, it’s been raining for quite a while and we just found out we had a leak, here at the office.

We moved in to this office a few years ago and didn’t have any issue with any leaks.

Property Managements are dragging their feet when we told them about the leak.

Let The Rain Come

It is raining today, the first 2025 proper rain in Southern California.

It started raining at midnight, then it rained again in the afternoon and throughout the night.

I went to watch Alex Skolnick playing with Stu Hamm Band at The Baked Potato in Studio City. I said hi to Alex right before leaving the venue.

Winter Storm is Coming.

For the last few days Santa Ana winds brought the temperature up significantly in Southern California this Winter. The good news is that rain is coming to Southern California in this season, finally.

We’re looking for ward to the rain.

Two Weeks Later…

Oh yes, we had crazy winds, wildfires, and now freeze warning in Southern California.

It has been pretty cold and yes I would like to see freezing temperatures in Southern California.

Ashes in the Wind

“All we are is dust in the wind.” -Kansas, the band, not the State.

As expected , the ashes from the wildfires are descending upon the surface where we dwell. The smell of smokes dominates the air.

I spoke to a friend who I rarely speak to because of these wildfires. I’m glad that they are safe.

Seven Earth, Wind, and Fire

Originally I was going to title this post “The Wind Cries Scary” or “Los Angeles is Burning”

Obviously, I’m talking about the severe wind conditions and multiple fires in Greater Los Angeles.

There has not been a shortage of burning fires in Los Angeles in the last 30-40 years. This time it is just as scary as they all were, the fire.
