iPad 2 ship time slips to 5-7 business days.

iPad 2 seems to be selling really well. Shipping time increases from 3-5 business days to 5-7 business days.

At the time of this posting, 16GB iPad+3G Verizon Black version is the only one ships within 3-5 business days.

Uninspiring Thursday: iPhone 4 on Verizon and more on Bing versus Google.

I feel so uninspired even though there’s a lot of news today.

iPhone 4 on Verizon are available in stores.
It’s February 10, 2011. The launch day for iPhone 4 for Verizon. It feels like last week news though, just like the iOS 4.2.6 for CDMA iPhone 4. The firmware was made available in late January 2011.

Bing beats Google, so someone says.
Some Analysis firm says that Bing is better than Google. Then Google’s Matt Cutts responds.

The Verizon iPhone 4 plans as posted at Apple Store Online.

Currently Verizon is offering unlimited Data Plans for $29.99 and additional $20 for 2GB on 3G Mobile Hotspot. 3G Mobile Hotspot incurs a $35 one-time activation fee.

3G Mobile Hotspot allows your iPhone to act as portable hotspot for up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled computers or other devices — including iPad and iPod touch — enabling them to access the Internet. Please note: When using 3G Mobile Hotspot, all data (including data accessed on the iPhone) will count against your 2GB monthly allowance.iPhone 4, Verizon, Mobile Hotspot

iPhone 4, it begins for existing Verizon customers.

The clock just struck midnight here in Cupertino Time and iPhone 4 pre-orders for Verizon existing customers have just begun.

iPhone 4 for Verizon:

February 3
We’ve set aside a limited quantity of iPhone 4 models for existing Verizon customers to pre-order from the Apple Online Store for free delivery on or before February 10.

February 9
Order an iPhone 4 from the Apple Online Store and have it shipped free to your door.
Or reserve an iPhone 4 on February 9 for pickup at your favorite Apple Retail Store starting February 10 and get Personal Setup.

February 10
Order an iPhone 4 from the Apple Online Store and have it shipped free to your door.
Or stop by an Apple Retail Store starting at 7 a.m. to buy an iPhone 4 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note:
I am not a current Verizon Wireless Customer, so I wouldn’t be pre-ordering the iPhone 4.
