WordPress 2.7.1 is released. It is available for download and through WordPress 2.7 automatic upgrade.

The automatic upgrade process took less than 30 seconds to upgrade my self-hosted WordPress blog.
Thanks to “WordPress Automatic Upgrade” by Keith Dsouza, upgrading WordPress is a lot easier and faster now. I can spend more time downloading por….. errr I meant downloading Porky Pig vs. Bugs Bunny videos from the internet.
After a few our of outtage, I managed to iron through some wrinkles in upgrading to WordPress 2.6.1 today.
I had to reset a few things, and now the WordPress blog is working again. I call this one a success with an asterisk.
