Reno 911! Might Return for The Sixth Season

Comedy Central and Reno 911! creators are reportedly talking about renewing the show for the sixth season. There has not been any official confirmations from both camps at this point.

I talked to Carlos Alazraqui on Saturday night at ACME Comedy Theatre, and he confirmed that indeed the show MIGHT BE picked up for the sixth season by Comedy Central. Then Alazraqui added, “You would know it before I do, that’s how it usually goes.

The Reno 911! Season Five DVD was released within a week after the season finale episode first aired on July 10th, 2008.

Currently, Carlos Alazraqui and Cedric Yarbrough are doing College Comedy Tour across The United States.

Cedric Yarbrough attended The Boondock‘s creator Aaron McGruder‘s wedding in Laguna Beach, California on Saturday August 23rd, 2008 (if the location was 100% correct).

South Park: Uncensored Season 11 DVD

I’ve been busy with a lot of thing for the past three weeks, and forgot all about South Park Season 11 DVD set. It was released on August 12th, 2008 (a week prior to this post). Now I can re-rip the DVD in higher quality to replace the digital copy I purchased from iTunes Store.

Season 11 is filled with classics such as “With Apologies to Jesse Jackson” and “Guitar Queer-o” just to name a few.

South Park Season 12 is tentatively scheduled to resume sometimes in October 2008.

Burger King Now Overtakes Carl’s Jr. for Stupidest Commercials

After launching series of creepiest commercials in recent history, Burger King has now taken the “Stupidest Commercials” title. Their “Cheat on Beef” commercials defy common sense and fail miserably at the attempted humor.

It is creepy enough to wake up and find a man in king costume and mask in your bed. This time the cows are mad at you for eating some chicken meat instead of them (read: beef). Burger King even says that it is OK to “cheat” on beef, with all the inuendos.

Burger King should stop making any commercials. As a matter of fact, people should stop going to Burger King until they can come up with a half decent commercial.
