iOS 7.1 update is a 1+ GB download.

iOS 7.1 beta was first seeded back in November 18, 2014. The fifth and the last iOS 7.1 beta was released on February 4, 2014. Notably, all builds of iOS 7.1 betas contain the SSL/goto fail vulnerability.

Apple releases iTunes 11.1.5

This update fixes a problem that may cause iTunes to quit unexpectedly when a device is connected and improves compatibility with iBooks for Mac on OS X Mavericks.

Windows

This update resolves an issue with typing Japanese text in the iTunes Store and fixes a problem that may cause iTunes to quit unexpectedly when a device is connected.

iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows (64-bit)

This version of iTunes resolves an issue where the equalizer may not work as expected and improves performance when switching views in large iTunes libraries.

This update also includes additional minor bug fixes.

Apple also released a specific build of OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 Update for MacBook Pro with Retina Display (Late 2013).

Java for OS X 2013-005

Apple releases Java for OS X 2013-005.

From the release notes:

This release updates the Apple-provided system Java SE 6 to version 1.6.0_65 and is for OS X versions 10.7 or later.

This update uninstalls the Apple-provided Java applet plug-in from all web browsers. To use applets on a web page, click on the region labeled “Missing plug-in” to go download the latest version of the Java applet plug-in from Oracle.

I do not really have the need for Java if not for Adobe Creative Suite.

Microsoft Office 2011 14.3.8 Update

Microsoft has released Office 2011 14.3.8 Update for OS X.

This update fixes critical issues and also helps to improve security. It includes fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code. For more information about this update, please visit the Microsoft Web site.

iOS 7 is released

Apple releases iOS 7 to the general public on Wednesday September 18, 2013. It carries build number 11465 which is the same build with iOS 7 Golden Master which was seeded to developers on September 10, 2013.

iOS 7 is available through over the air Software Update or download through iTunes.

In addition to that, Apple also released iTunes 11.1 today.

iOS 7 Software Update on iPad mini

AirPort Base Station Firmware Update 7.6.4

Apple has released AirPort Base Station Firmware Update 7.6.4.

This update is available for all Apple 802.11n Wi-Fi base stations including AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, and AirPort Time Capsule. It contains fixes that:

  • Resolve an issue that may cause AirPort Time Capsule to report that the backup disk is in use
  • Resolve an issue that may cause an IPv6 Tunnel error
  • Resolve an issue that may intermittently cause a loss in Wi-Fi connectivity with iOS devices

Note: This firmware update is for all 802.11n AirPort base stations.

One of the Time Capsule I have been using was having issues with some iOS devices. I hope this update would fix the issue.
