Going through changes.

This site, 37Prime was started back in 2006 as a personal bookmark and a quasi-journal. 19 years have passed and so many things changed.

In 2007, something really exciting in the Tech world happened; the iPhone. Love it or hate it, the iPhone changed mobile phone industry. There were some posts on 37Prime were made on the iPhone that year.

Now there are plethora of mobile phones available on the market, one is more favored than the other by each individuals. “Whichever you fancy.”

We have travelled far in the last 19 years. For better and worse, here we are.

On a personal note, my fascination with the number 37 started a long time ago, when I noticed peculiar patterns. One of them:

3 x 7 x 37 = 777

Remember that: 3 x 37 = 111

There are a lot more interesting properties and patterns surrounding the number 37. You can read it at many Mathematical articles about this number.

Anyway, I think I babbled enough about the number 37.

I wish I could have more time to post a lot more here like we used to years ago. We just don’t have the time anymore. We are sure as the wind of change comes, we would be able to post more frequently.

We have travelled 19 years away from when this site was started. Life brought so many changes where our priorities shift. We love what we do and this site is a small extension of ourselves. Hopefully we would be able to express more in the near future. After all, there is something really precious about the ability to express ourselves.

We all are going through changes, hopefully for the better.

Missing iPhone, Thermal printer, and there’s no “I” in Teams.

Three things could happen at the same time, well, make it four.

I was on a conference call when I got three other calls in succession.

First one was issue with a thermal primer which still unresolved, and it would be the first thing I’d address in the morning.

Second one was issue with Microsoft Teams, which is still somehow widely used. Microsoft has since discontinued Teams basic app and making it a web-based only; best with Microsoft Edge… no surprises there.

Third one was about an iPhone that was left behind at a restaurant. I managed to help the person locked the iPhone and tracked it down. Luckily we were able to recover the iPhone as someone at the restaurant saw the lock message and call the number displayed.

On to the next days.

Day of Labors, 2023.

Carrot Weather: "Happy Labor Day, meatbag! Just remember: if I catch you wearing white tomorrow, I'll cut off your hands."

Can someone please explain to me why one shouldn’t be caught wearing white after Labor Day?

I never get a single logical answer.

Anyway, I just found put that a Del Taco Restaurant stops providing paper mat for dine-in tray. They also took Spicy Jack Quesadilla off their menu and still using the printed wrapper for it.

Weekend, Extended.

It’s Labor Day on Monday September 4, 2023 in the United States, and that means it’s a holiday weekend.

You know what, I’m going to take some extra sleeping hours.

See ya tomorrow, on Labor Day.

Saturday Night Pre-recorded

I was planning to work on a laptop for the office today. Unfortunately, I received a few calls early in the morning that ended up altering the best laid plan of my mice and me.

Oh, another thing. The ice-maker on the refrigerator stopped working yesterday. Repair won’t commence untilA after Labor Day. That would be Tuesday, September 5, 2023. So I head out to my favorite spot to get a bag full of ice cubes.

While I was driving, I saw a letter of the alphabet. doesn’t mean anything? NO!

Light fixture forming an “X”

Oh well, it is Saturday Night and is it alright for fighting?

Nine, 2023

It is the first day in September of 2023. The weather today was warmer than I prefer. I have a few things to finish this Labor Day weekend.

I need to finish setting up a laptop so that it would be usable on and off the office. I need to encrypt the drive and install VPN client.

I also have been getting calls from number of acquaintances for help with their computers.

It might be a holiday weekend, but it won’t be holidays for me.

By the way, I’m seriously thinking about purchasing a fuel cell car.
