UPDATE:
Carlos Alazraqui sends a video update on his upcoming appearances. Yes he is aware that Reno is NOT in California, but remember that they shot most of RENO 911! in California. We only did 1 take for the video. Anyway, Carlos will be hitting the road with Cedric Yarbrough and Jill-Michele Meleán on some shows.

Now back to the original post:
Yeah, the cats are out of the bag. After months of keeping the not so well kept secret, someone at Comedy Central decided to spill out the beans by showing trailers and new promos for the show.
Spoiled spoiler alert!
Guess what? Deputy Garcia, Johnson and Kimball was not there. Apparently all three of them were killed during the accident at the Taco Stand.
The news first came weeks before the filming of RENO 911! Season Six. The show creators Thomas Lennon, Robert Ben Garant and Kerri Kenney-Silver has delivered the ending to Season Five cliffhanger. Deputy James Garcia, Deputy Clementine Johnson and Deputy Cherisha Kimball were killed at the Taco Stand accident. Shocker!
Fans will want to know why the three Deputies were killed off. Well, send your complaints to Comedy Central here. Don’t forget to select “Reno 911” as the topic.
RENO 911! Season Six has been filmed, so in a way your favorite dead Deputies won’t be back unless they become a ghost or whatever in Season Seven. If there would be Season Seven. Then again, they could make the whole Season Six as a huge dream.
This one is an unspoiled spoiler alert, so don’t read the following paragraph if you don’t want to get spoiled. Is that right? Get spoiled. Anyway, do not read the next paragraph. Use a marker or liquid paper or anything to cover the next paragraph. As long as you don’t read it if you choose not to. OK, are you ready to not to read the next paragraph?
Deputy S. Jones mourns the loss of his partner Deputy James Garcia in a touching and explosive tributes to his fallen partner. In essence, Deputy James Garcia made his appearance just like what Graham Chapman did in “Monty Python Live At The Hollywood Bowl.”
Well, I don’t know if the scenes above made it to the final cut.
Anyway, originally Comedy Central signed the show for total of 5 seasons. After the fifth seasons ended, all the main cast members parted ways to do their own projects. There seemed to be some disconnects between RENO 911! creators and the rest of the main cast members. Exhibit A is “Balls Of Fury” which featured almost all of RENO 911! cast members with the exceptions of Carlos Alazraqui, Mary Birdsong, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Niecy Nash and Cedric Yarbrough. Robert Ben Garant Directed the movie, Thomas Lennon had a role and Kerri Kenney-Silver had a bit part. The fate of RENO 911! was uncertain until after the WGA Strike in 2007. There were some talk to bring RENO 911! back for its sixth season.
In 2008, Mary Birdsong who played Deputy Cherisha Kimball announced that she is moving back to the East Coast. Currently she is doing more theater work than acting in front of the cameras.
Wendi McLendon-Covey was busy fending off a “bike-riding-goat-lord” and was unable to rejoin RENO 911! cast. (Completely made up by me. Hi Bob!)
Carlos Alazraqui joined the Circus a month before Comedy Central ordered RENO 911! Season Six. Well, Alazraqui did say something about joining the Circus. (Completely made-up by me.)
Even though RENO 911! is back for the sixth season, some fans will be mourning the loss of their favorite deputy/deputies.
OK, I’m a little bit sleepy here. I gotta go to sleep. I’ll update this post later.
Before I ended this post (for now), some lucky Colleges will be visited by Carlos Alazraqui and Cedric Yarbrough. I’ll post the schedule soon.
