Early preview version of iTunes 8.2 was required to install iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 4 and Beta 5. Since then, no new iPhone OS 3.0 Beta has been released. The shipping version of iPhone OS 3.0 is expected to be released in mid-July along with the new iPhone hardware(s).
