Avatar and Avengers: Endgame, an Ode to Zoe Saldana
To paraphrase Mr. Big’s 1992 song To Be With You:
“Waited on a line of greens and blues”
As of June 23, 2019, Avatar and Avengers: Endgame are the first and second highest grossing films of all time, respectively. Avengers: Endgame headed back to the theater with unreleased footage in effort to unseat Avatar.
Whether or not the attempt is successful, both films have the same name in the casts: Zoe Saldana.
She was blue in Avatar and green in Avengers: Endgame.
One more note, both 20th Century Fox (distributor of Avatar) and Marvel Studios (Production company of Avengers: Endgame) are subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios.
Atomic Blonde
I have not watched Atomic Blonde, neither in the theater nor on Blu-ray. Since it is directed by one of the guy who made John Wick, a movie that I really like, I took a leap and ordered the movie.
I ordered a copy. The 4K Ultra HD and it comes with the Blu-ray and iTunes copy. It is also a Movies Anywhere eligible movie.

There are a few retailer-exclusive editions of the movie, and Target seems to have the best one.
Walmart edition comes with K2SO packaging and 2 Star Wars Galactic Connexions Trading Discs.
Best Buy edition comes in SteelBook case.
If you feel like buying from Amazon, they only have the “regular” version of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Now, guess which version I got?
Sony Pictures Cancels “The Interview” Theatrical Release Due To Terror Threats.
Ars Technica, echoing Variety:
… in light of major US theater chains’ decision to stay away from The Interview, Sony will not do a theatrical release for the film at all.
Sony Pictures definitely errs on the side of caution in the interest of public safety.
This reminds me of the plot of South Park “200” and “201“.

Even at $8.99 per month, Netflix is still a bargain.
Considering that Netflix has recently signed peering deals with Comcast and Verizon, the extra $1 should be justified to Netflix.
Amazon Fire TV: The Arrival
Amazon Fire TV I ordered arrived one day earlier than promised, thanks to Amazon and USPS speedy delivery. I also ordered the Fire Game Controller, but it won’t be delivered until sometimes next week. I would have more time later in the evening installing, using and playing with the Amazon Fire TV. Don’t expect any unboxing video from me because there are already tons of other people doing that. I would do something different. Stay tuned!
The package was delivered so fast, probably because it was done by Spider-Man himself.
