Please keep checking back as links will be updated as they become available.

Note:

The Apple logo in the WWDC 2012 page is composed of squares with rounded corners; similar with icons of iOS Apps.

p.s.

The ever mysterious firstnameatappledotcom sent us a message:

“You may want to shell out a couple hundreds of bucks and some change for Apple Developer account after the keynote, if you haven’t already. There’ll be a nice surprise for those who attend WWDC workshop. You’ll get that later.”

We have renewed our Developer membership.

WWDC 2011 Keynote Live Coverage Links

Live coverage links for WWDC 2011 Keynote on Monday June 6th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. San Francisco time (Pacific Time).

Search “wwdc 2011 live coverage” on Google and you will find a lot of links, The followings are vetted for your convenience:

CNN will be providing some kind of live coverage scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time (01:30 p.m. Eastern Time).

More of WWDC 2011 Keynote live coverage links will be added later.

There will be no sneak peek of the next iPhone or iPad, just iOS 5 demonstrated on iPhone 4 variants. Mac OS X Lion and iOS 5 are reported to have some kind of integration with each other through the iCloud. Special apology to Phil and Scott for not acknowledging you two as the one who told me about the next iPhone that might not be an iPhone 5, because they are not the source I was told that it’s dubbed as iPhone 4.5 (it’s a trap?).

Apple March 2nd iPad Event Live Coverage Links.

The “maybe providing coverage” list:

Meta-coverage by TWiT.tv.

I wonder if John Gruber would spend his Daring Fireball money to fly out to San Francisco for this event?

It would be another big surprise if Apple is streaming the event live on Apple.com.

Live coverage will definitely stars shortly on March 2nd, 2010 before:

  • 08:00 AM – Hawaii
  • 10:00 AM – Pacific
  • 11:00 AM – Mountain
  • 12:00 PM – Central
  • 01:00 PM – Eastern
  • 06:00 PM – London
  • 07:00 PM – Paris
  • 03:00 AM – Tokyo (March 3rd)
  • 05:00 AM – Sydney (March 3rd)

NOTES:
What do Leo Laporte, Ryan Block and Gizmodo have in common? They are not invited to this event.

“Back to the Mac” Live Coverage Links.

Well, it’s time of the Apple event again. There will be numbers of sites providing live coverage from the event. Who knows if Apple would provide live stream just like the September Music Event.

As usual, links will be listed below as they are made available.

I wonder if gdgt got an invitation to the event or they might have gone Gizmodo way after Ryan Block’s “glassgate” article. By the way the terms “glassgate” and “antennaegate” are pretty stupid. They are named after the “Watergate” scandal which is the name of the Hotel where it happened. It was never noun-gate naming convention.

Backing Tracks: Mike Portnoy Leaves Dream Theater and Rust In Peace: Live.

September 7, 2010

Megadeth – Rust In Peace: Live is released in CD, DVD and Blu-ray forms. Well, not counting the other digital download formats. Rust In Peace 2oth Anniversary Tour marks the return of David Ellefson to Megadeth.

September 8, 2010

Dream Theater announced that Mike Portnoy had parted ways with the band. After 25 years Portnoy decided to take an indefinite hiatus from Dream Theater while the rest of the band are carrying on.

Mike Portnoy has a unique style to drumming that is also a signature sound to Dream Theater. Fans can only wonder what directions Dream Theater will go without Portnoy.

Black Clouds & Silver Linings has now become the last Dream Theater album with Mike Portnoy on Drums. Well, until he rejoins the band sometimes in the future, as fans hope.
