Kitten Diary: Runts of the Litter
Out of six kittens we found, these two are the runts of the litter. They are visibly smaller than the other four. you can see the size difference in the video I posted a few days ago. We are going to wait another week before they are ready for adoption. We also will capture their feral mommy kitty and get her fixed.
Pile of Kittens
Partial pile of kittens that we are rescuing. We hope to find new homes for them really soon. They are starting to get used to humans.
Little Kitten
Found this little kitten along with its five siblings.They are born of a feral mommy kitty. They will need good homes.
Saving Truffle the Kitten
During the rainstorm we found two stray kittens in the backyard looking for shelter. Both of the were in bad shape, covered with crusts. On Saturday morning one of the kittens died. We took the surviving one to the veterinarian on Sunday. They gave the kitten a bath, cleaning and some shots. Currently we have to sequester this kitten, which named Truffle, due to its condition. We have high hopes that Truffle would make full recovery. We also hope to find Truffle the Kitten a loving home.
